Winter dates can be fun and exciting. While many will think there is nothing to do during those winter days that are short, cold and of course many times snowy they are just plain wrong. There are tons of different options when it comes to winter dates. Here are 10 of the best winter date ideas that will get you on the fast track to coming up with great winter date ideas that will last you all winter long.

1) Enjoy the weather. Sit outside on the porch, snuggled close together and chat. Add into this a nice warm cup of hot chocolate or coffee and it can be a great way to spend time together. You can also add in a blanket to wrap around the two of you for some added warmth and closeness.

2) Create a snowperson together. It was so much fun as a kid to build a snowman why not share that fun with the one you care about? Don’t forget to dress up your snowman with a hat, scarf and whatever else you find that will make your snowman come to life. Get a picture of the two of you and your snowman to add to your photo album.

3) Can you make a snowball? Start a snowball fight! This can be a fun way to enjoy the cold and then of course head in for a quick change of clothes and a warm cup of hot chocolate.

4) Have a good conversation over a warm cup of coffee or hot tea. Depending on where you are in your relationship you can talk about dreams for the future or about what you did that day.

5) Snuggle by the fire. What better way to warm up than to sit with the one you care about. Strike up a good conversation or just sit quietly holding each other.

6) What better time to go ice skating than during the winter? So what if you can’t skate very well, half the fun is laughing at each other as you attempt to stay standing up.

7) Bake a yummy treat together. Sugar cookies are always fun. You can use cookie cutter to cut out shapes and then once they are done cooking you can decorate them.

8) Cuddle up for a good movie. Couches just scream for snuggling on those cold winter days and nights so make sure to answer the call. Pop some popcorn, select a good movie and settle in for some togetherness time.

9) Take a walk in the park. While you might not be able to go down the slide or play in the sandbox together a nice walk in the winter is a great way to spend time together.

10) Head to a museum. Take in an art museum or a great science museum.
Winter dates can be just as much fun as summer dates, you just have to think more outside of the box and get a little more creative with your date ideas.
